We went for a walk this afternoon. It’s surprising the things you see when you look a little harder. These beautiful patterned tiles are at the entrance of Levenshulme Antiques Village. This was the site of the old council offices.
Next door is the old Lancashire Constabulary – now offices.

I recognised those tiles straight away! When we first went to the Antiques Village we couldn’t believe we could get such beautiful solid old furniture, for less than crappy flat pack stuff. As I type I’m looking at my lovely coffee table, made form old floorboards.
I love it in there. We bought a coffee table too. Big solid thing. I love all the desk bureaus too.
